    Learn to Cook Mattar Paneer

One of my favorite stand by dishes when traveling India is mattar paneer. Since I don’t eat meat while in the country, generally one dish per meal includes paneer in order to get some protein. This dish blends a creamy Indian spiced sauce with peas and paneer. Paneer is a non-melting cheese made by curdling heated milk with lemon juice or other food acid. Eventually it’s shape is similar to tofu. It can be cubed, sliced, grilled, sauteed or crumbled.

Have traveler’s checks or currency to exchange for Indian Rupees? I took a chance on using their services after seeing signs and reading about them in my guide books. Multiple offices exist in Delhi apparently offering only specific services in each. For money exchange I was redirected 3 times to a final destination of Connaught Place.
