This charming photo is thanks to Mona, my India travel companion in 2005 and 2006. In rapid succession during our one and only camel safari, she learned to ride a camel and snap pics at the same time. The early morning trek began from a true desert-oasis accommodation, Reggie’s Camel Camp, near Osian in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan. For two hours we crossed a narrow path past remote homes, temples and finally ending near a small village. Good memories.
