Ever dreamed of seeing the ghats of Pushkar, Rajasthan, or beaches of Dwarka, Gujarat? Indian Railways Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is making it possible for passengers to visit those places and many more aboard the Somnath Darshan. Beginning December 25, 2011, the all-inclusive rail tour operated by Indian Railways will cover important tourist places in Jaipur, Ajmer, Udaipur, Dwarka, Somnath, and Ahmedabad over the span of 11 days and 10 nights.

For Rs 5643, IRCTC Somnath Darshan package includes travel by NON AC sleeper class carriages, vegetarian only breakfast, lunch and dinner, local sightseeing conducted by a dedicated tour escort and transfers from the train to individual stops on 55 seat, NON AC buses. Entry fees to monuments and temples are not included in the cost.

Somnath Darshan is just one of several all inclusive packages available through the current Bharat Darshan Special Tourist Train program. Reservations for travel can be made online or in person at Indian Railways Tourist Facilitation Centers, Zonal Offices, and Regional Offices.
