Returning for another edition, and at a new date, the Goa Food and Cultural Festival is scheduled to take place from April 17 to April 21, 2015.
The Goa Food and Cultural Festival is a 5 day celebration planned to give special focus to Goan cuisine, a mix of Portuguese and local Konkani food. Chefs from Goa’s best hotels will be preparing their favorite palette pleasing recipes as well as local Goans. Classic culinary specialties of Goa will be featured alongside fresh modern creations with a strong emphasis on the Goan seafood culture.
More than 50 stalls will be serving food, aerated drinks and alcoholic beverages, as well as ice-creams and snacks at the festival.
A cooking competition is just part of the many planned activities for attendees. Look for a line-up of famous local bands, live music from national level performers plus cultural programs, dance performances, and Goan folklore.
The annual event is part of a three-festival line-up sponsored by Goa Tourism that includes the Shigmotsav and the Goa Coconut and Cashew Festival.
The Goa Food and Cultural Festival will be held at NIWS Grounds, Caranzalem, Panaji.
