Andaman and Nicobar IslandsFestival season for Andaman and Nicobar Islands is relatively simple. The four major annual events, festivals and fairs fall between January and February, the prime tourist season of India.

Island Tourism Festival is by far the largest of these events and is held in the capital city of Port Blair on Andaman Island.

Tourists can reach Andaman and Nicobar Islands two ways: by flight or by boat. Three Indian airlines offer service from Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai to Port Blair while several passenger ship services are available from Chennai, Kolkata and Vishakhapatnam to Port Blair.
