India’s largest automotive exhibition show will take place from 5 January, 2012, in New Delhi. The 11th edition of Auto Expo, to be held at Pragati Maidan, marks a return after a two year hiatus.

An estimated 1500 exhibitors from 24 countries are scheduled to display their products during the event which opens to the public from 7 – 11 January, 2012. Media and special invitee programs will run for 2 days prior to the public opening.

During this year’s show, attendees will see 50 new product launches in categories such as two-wheelers, trucks, buses and cars. A visitor cap of 100,000 people per day has been set due to space constraints. Of that number, 70,000 are allotted for general public. Advance tickets for Auto Expo 2012 are available online with an additional 30,000 open tickets on sale each day.

Auto Expo 2010 logged record attendance of 1.2 million visitors who came to see 2105 exhibitors and 42 vehicle manufacturers displaying their products.
