Purana Qila of Delhi sets the stage for the 11th edition of Ananya Dance Festival beginning October 6, 2012. This year the 5 day Indian classical dance festival will feature artists like Saroja Vaidyanathan, Bharatanatyam (Delhi), Rani Karnaa, Kathak (Kolkata), Vijayalakshmi, Mohiniattam (Delhi), Rudraksh, Odissi (Bhubaneswar) and Shijith Nambiar, Bharatanatyam (Chennai).

More than just dance performance, Ananya Dance Festival will also feature seminars and student workshops. Pratibimb, a 2 day seminar, will place artists from this year’s presentations with an audience to discuss various topics.

Ananya Dance Festival is organized by the Department of Art, Culture, Languages of the Government of Delhi and SEHER in association with Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and Doordarshan.

Entry to the festival is free. Seating is limited to first come first serve. Ananya Dance Festival runs from October 6-10.
