Happy Holi!
On March 1st, all of India will be celebrating Holi. This year I’ll be en route to Bengaluru, where the festivities will be finished by the time the plane arrives. I had a chance to celebrate Holi in New Delhi with friends 2 years ago for which I am still grateful.
Why? Because Holi demands an in-person experience to truly appreciate the passion Indians exude during this festival.
Yes, I drank the Bhang Lassi but no, I did not feel it’s effects. My friends however were rolling on the floor in fits of laughter. As the high wore on, they broke into dance. Good food, many visitors to the house, and lots of good conversation made this day a blast for me. Oh, and throwing the colors from the 3rd story rooftop made me feel like a kid again. Thanks to all the neighbors of Mandiwali Faizalpur who went easy on me.
Below is my favorite music video celebrating Holi followed by my own videos. Enjoy, and Happy Holi!
